Student loans have been in the headlines lately with talk about interest rates and loan structures. The video below from Morningstar gives a good overview of the types of student loans available.
One of the gleaming points that I found from the video is that a good rule of thumb with student loans is that your total debt should be less than your expected starting salary. With the data that I have been seeing I don't think that many student are heading this advice.
