Portfolio Performance

TAMMA Capital oversees a trading portfolio at Investopedia.  The portfolio or sometimes referred to as "fund" started on March 31, 2011 with a total value of $1 million dollars.  The portfolio seeks to maximize returns through the use of fundamental and technical analysis.  We analyze specific factors such as economic margin, operating & free cash flow, and other relative valuation data while utilizing technical analysis such as support and resistance levels to aid in buy/sell decisions.

A few other details regarding the fund
  1. Positions can be held for any given period of time.  Even though a position may fit a long-term thesis or strategy market conditions may warrant leaving the position
  2. Cash is not trash.  Cash levels can often exceed those of an average mutual fund
  3. TAMMA is a go anywhere fund meaning that we invest in any asset class that we find suitable.  Typical assets classes would include but not be limited to the following;
    1. Equities
    2. Options (calls, puts, covered calls, etc.)
    3. Bonds
    4. Short positions
    5. ETF's
Weekly fund performance will be posted here on the TAMMA Capital website in addition to weekly commentary and fund transactions.  The basis here is to be as transparent as possible when discussing my investment strategy.  In addition I will also be updating a watch list of stocks on my radar screen.
