Do you know what the point of financial planning is? Most would say a number that they need to get to, other would state a possible financial goal such as saving for college. As clearly stated in this
Forbes piece "the real point of financial planning is not to have more money but a better life"
This article reinforces a belief that we have here at DWCM and that is we want to know three things about you when you walk in our door.
- What keeps in up at night?
- What are your dreams and goals?
- How can we help?
Having financial goals are great, it helps us to keep moving in a forward direction. However, have you thought about how those goals will affect your life? Millions of people retire each year saving their entire careers only to determine that they don't know what to do at the end of the road. Think with the end in mind. Try to open yourself to see the big picture and what all that can be open to you. I keep stressing in the last few posts this past week that opportunities are abundant if you only try. And if you try and don't make it, find another opportunity and try again.
