No Triple Crown But How that Might be Better for The Bulls

Having lived in Louisville, KY for a period of time I always catch the Triple Crown fever this time of the year.  So it was extremely disappointing to hear a few hours ago that I'll Have Another was scratched from the Belmont tomorrow.  This extends the longest stretch of horse racing history where there has not been a triple crown winner.

As only Bespoke could do, it's crack research team turned out the following analysis on S&P 500 performance following a Triple Crown win which does not bode well for the market.

As convincing as the data appears to be I still would have preferred to see I'll Have Another give it a shot in tomorrow's race.
