For those of you who might not know who Julian Robertson is, he is definitely a person worth learning about. Robertson is a self-made billionaire creating the ultra successful Tiger Management hedge fund.
Below is an interview with Robertson by Bloomberg's Tom Keene. One point that Robertson makes which is often overlooked when investing in a company for the long-term is it's management. If you look at the most successful companies you will often find the most successful management staffs. Steve Job comes to mind at Apple and so do a series of various CEO's at McDonald's including Jim Skinner who is retiring.
