Neil Harbisson: I listen to color

Being color blind the title of this TED talk definitely caught my eye.  There are a very limited amount of people in the world who are completely color blind such as Neil Harbisson.

People like Neil only see in gray scale, think seeing TV in black and white all of the time.  People like me see color but it is not the same color that non-color blind people see.  For example I grew up think that the grass was brown never knowing that it was green.

In the TED talk below Neil describes how he now sees color through sound.  Neill can not only turn sound into color but also various sounds such as music or speeches into color.  In my view...simply amazing.
