How Change Happens

Although this piece is a few weeks old from John Mauldin's weekly Thoughts from the Frontline newsletter this in our view is one of his best!  The article is actually a previous work that he had put together which made it into his recent book Endgame: The End of the Debt Supercycle and How It Changes Everything was one of the most popular he had written.

The point beyond the article is that everyone craves an explanation for everything.  "Any explanation is better than none."  The simpler the answer the better.  He gives a good example of how every day on places like CNBC people are giving reasons why the market is up or down.  Knowing why something happens, physically makes us feel better and when we fell better we feel more secure.  See where this is going.....a false sense of security.
